What can solution focused hypnotherapy and psychotherapy help with?

What do worries, fears and anxieties feel like?

It is normal for you to have some worries and fears occasionally but when they start to interfere in your child’s life or your life, getting in the way of what you can do, where you can go, friendships, routines and home life then a course of hypnotherapy may help. Stress can cause many different symptoms. It might affect how you feel physically, mentally and also how you behave. It’s not always easy to recognise when stress is the reason you’re feeling or acting differently. At Yore therapy I offer evidence-based solution focused hypnotherapy to treat worries, fears, phobias and anxiety disorders, also offering parental support if treating your child, to help you to help your child.

Do I have low self esteem?

Sometimes, perhaps due to negative experiences like bullying, family factors like separation or divorce and stress, people may develop some strong, unhelpful attitudes and ideas about themselves. If self-esteem becomes low it can be difficult to appreciate and enjoy oneself and the things going on in life and it can hold us back from taking up opportunities and joining in. Having low self esteem is not a mental health problem as such but it can really change how you experience life and can lead to a low mood and anxiety. I offer evidence-based therapy to intervene with low self esteem through hypnotherapy and relaxation we will work together to improve confidence and wellbeing.

Can I get help with OCD or other related issues?

Persistent thoughts, images or constant repetitive behaviours can be incredibly distressing and interrupt regular life for the person experiencing them and often for their family too. If you are looking for help with obsessive thoughts, repetitive compulsive behaviours, hair pulling, skin picking or body image concerns then I offer evidence-based therapy, such as CBT and hypnotherapy combined with parenting support to relieve these symptoms.

What does mood and emotional regulation difficulties feel like?

It is normal for our mood to fluctuate and to occasionally become overwhelmed by our feelings and this is especially true during the usual challenges of adolescence and early adulthood. However, if mood remains low or emotions continue to be difficult to manage then talking to your family doctor or a course of hypnotherapy and relaxation may help. Sometimes, for varied reasons, it can be very difficult to manage emotions and lifestyle and relationships start to change. I offer evidence-based therapy to treat low mood and depression and emotional regulation difficulties. Where there may be risk issues, we will work with everyone involved towards safety.

Can I get help with difficult and distressing experiences?

If you are facing a difficult life event or coping with life after a difficult event, then it might help to talk to a clinical solution focused hypnotherapist. At Yore therapy I can help you to understand and use strategies for support after a traumatic event or bereavement or through separation or divorce.

Why can't I sleep?

Improve your sleep and sleeping habits with hypnotherapy. Perhaps you wake up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep? The consequences of lack of sleep can be debilitating. Therefore, we can develop habits of broken sleep, waking in the middle of the night or waking early or late. Hypnotherapy can help you get to sleep easier and get the most out of your sleep. Above all sleeping can reduce irritability, help with weight management and reduce fatigue. We regain our motivation at work and at home. Work performance can improve and previous feelings of anger can subside. At Yore therapy you will receive a hypnotic track which will relax you and will encourage you to sleep. Along with solution focused hypnotherapy you will begin to feel more relaxed and enjoy sleeping again.

Fees

How much are sessions?

 

The first session is your initial consultation which lasts between 30 and 45 minutes at £40. This is where we collect valuable information to plan your treatment plan, and go through the most up to date neuroscience to begin to help you understand what is happening within your mind. You will then be sent your relaxation track to listen to which will help the therapy process. 

Each subsequent session thereafter will be 60 minutes long and consist of 30 minutes talking therapy (CBT, NLP & psychotherapy techniques) and 30 minutes hypnosis relaxation. These sessions will be £65.
